Doulas support mothers, fathers, parents, and surrogates through the transformative physical and mental process of pregnancy, birth, feeding, and early postpartum days.
Prenatal & Labor Support
As a non-medical professional, I act as an emotional supporter and witness to the unique hopes, fears, and questions that can arise in the birth process. I help clients with labor techniques, informed choices for medical interventions, provider referrals, and writing a birth plan, if desired.
My goal is for clients to feel they fully own their birth experience. Building trust and respect is a priority. Some parents or surrogates may want me to advocate on their behalf, while others simply need me to be a witness. Some clients may require nurturing guidance throughout the entire process. I firmly believe that every woman/person who gives birth has the right to choose their own path in a calming environment.
Throughout the course of pregnancy and labor, I am prepared to stand by your side, as needs may change.
My goal is to make life a little easier for new parents during the postpartum period. This is a delicate time as you transition into motherhood, and it's important for families to have the physical and emotional support they need.
Experience the difference that a good night of rest can make.
As an overnight postpartum doula, I fully focus on meeting your baby's needs so you can enjoy a full, uninterrupted night of sleep. I will support any existing night routine you have and take care of all feedings using expressed breast milk or formula. Overnight shifts are a minimum of 8-10 hours.
Think of sleep as a valuable resource that needs to be replenished to help you function at your best. I am here to provide the assistance you need.
